Frances was our wonderful neighbour for twenty-seven years. She was absolutely the best neighbour ever, and was so helpful when Elizabeth and Jonathan were young. From an early age, Liz called her Sissis (unable to say Frances) and, in our family, that name has stuck! Last year she gave me rhubarb crowns which we’ve planted at the allotment, and will pick rhubarb with love and many happy memories of such a special friend. Thank you Sissis.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
